Iron Brigade, formerly titled Trenched, is a 2011 video game developed by Double Fine Productions and published by Microsoft Studios as a downloadable Xbox Live Arcade title on the Xbox 360; it was later set for release as a Microsoft Windows title in 2012. Announced at the 2011 Game Developers Conference by Tim Schafer, Iron Brigade is a hybrid tower defense and third person shooter game, set after World War I in an alternate reality, where the player controls units from "The Mobile Trench Brigade" to fight off robotic species called the Monovision. The player controls giant mecha-style robots with weapon and armor customization through a variety of missions set across the world. The game was released on the Xbox Live service on June 22, 2011, with a delayed release in certain European areas due to trademark issues with the title, with its release scheduled for November 30, 2011 but was ultimately released on December 1, 2011 under the alternate name Iron Brigade. The name of the title was updated worldwide to Iron Brigade alongside the European release.

Realm of the Mad God is a massively multiplayer browser game originally created by Wildshadow Studios (acquired by Kabam in June 2012) and Spry Fox. It has been in public beta since January 2010 and officially launched on June 20, 2011.The game has been described as a "massively-multiplayer cooperative bullet hell shooter" and done in a pixelated style. Players control characters who have been transported to the realm of Oryx (the titular Mad God) to become food for his many minions and abominations, which the players must dispatch. When all of the high-level quest bosses are dispatched along with more than 95% of monsters in a "Realm", Oryx will summon all player characters within the realm to his castle, where players must work together to defeat high-level enemies before finally facing Oryx in his Chamber and Wine Cellar. Central to the design of the game is the fact that character death is permanent. Upon death, the player's character is lost along with all carried equipment, although the player may store a number of items for safekeeping in an easily-accessible vault away from danger and possibility of death.The game is free to play, and both paying and non-paying players have access to the entire game. Additional vault chests and character slots can be purchased with real world money, as can temporary stat boosts and various decorative items, such as pets..This game client is written in Flash and can be played in browser, or downloaded from the Google Chrome Web Store, on Steam, and on Kongregate.

Players control a crying naked child named Isaac or one of six other unlockable characters. After his mother receives a message from God demanding the life of her son as proof of her faith, Isaac flees into the monster-filled basement in order to escape with his life.On November 1, 2011, it was added to the Humble Indie Bundle as part of the Humble Voxatron Debut. It was published by Microsoft Game Studios on the Xbox 360 and by Uber Entertainment and Valve Software for Microsoft Windows. It was released on August 11, 2010 on the Xbox 360 as part of Microsoft's 2010 Xbox Live Summer of Arcade and is distributed through Xbox Live Arcade. It was released on January 24, 2011 for Windows via Steam.MNC is a class-based third person shooter game in which two teams are pitted against each other in a fictional combat setting similar to that of a tower defense and multiplayer online battle arena title. The competitors on each team are clones, and the goal is to destroy the other team's Moneyball, a stationary objective which houses the team's money, while protecting their own. It is presented to the player as the Monday Night sport of the future.The game was well received by critics, averaging 79.24% at GameRankings and 79 out of 100 at Metacritic, two video game aggregate websites. Reviewers were generally universal in praising the quality of the game in comparison to the cost. The game's graphics and art style were also praised.
